I had change of schedule on July 23rd trip to Mt Storm that required driving a rental car from Clarksburg back to the Richmond airport. Though I asked, neither car rental location was able to waive the drop-off fee.
When Chris Taylor, travel advisor at Covington was booking my Aug 14 trip to Storm - also requiring one-way rental - she mentioned the car rental company had eliminated drop-off fees in most cases.
I explained the situation from July and she was successful in persuading the car rental company to credit the drop fee, saving Dominion over $150."
