My Travel Highlights

As a military dependent, I learned about travel at an early age. As a normal pastime, our family picnicked on the Rhine and explored castles, cathedrals, and ruins. After raising my family, my first love – travel – became a second career. I also discovered that the travels of my youth were the exception and not the norm!

The world is a big beautiful place with more experiences than we can cram into a single lifetime. Throughout my travels, my favorite countries include France, Italy, Ireland, and Costa Rica.

From my perspective, Travel is captured in my favorite quote: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.”

Walking in ancient footsteps along the Appian Way; marveling at the hands that built architectural masterpieces; savoring the smell of Tasmania’s eucalyptus forest and Istanbul’s spice markets; standing awestruck at the vast expanse of the Milky Way and the Southern Hemisphere from Ayers Rock; being startled by the sudden appearance of a flock of Scarlet Macaws; or enjoying the sand between my toes near the blue Caribbean Sea.

“When working with clients, it is important to listen. Every trip is a dream trip for someone. If I can use my experience and knowledge to make their trip not only enjoyable but memorable, it is a job well done. My strengths include honeymoons, destination weddings, river cruises, family vacations, guided and independent European travel.”
