Fabulous Tour of Rome!

Thank you to Covington travel and Judy for setting up this tour for our group from the University of Virginia. The tour was fabulous. The people were easy to find, the blue tooth headphones worked perfectly and the guide was really good. I spoke with other people who did a similar tour of the Colosseum and they did not enjoy it at all, with less than experienced guides.

As far as highlights, our guide had obviously been doing these types of tours for a while. He was well-read, and stopped to point out the minor details that we would have overlooked. He was funny, interjected some stories and really helped us re-create the time when the Romans wandered those same halls. Overall, a definite highlight for the short half day we had for sightseeing.
