Aruba is among the livelier islands in the Caribbean with high-rise resorts, great restaurants and glitzy casinos lining every white-sand beach.
The most popular island in the Dutch Caribbean, Aruba draws droves of honeymooners and sun worshippers with the best beaches found on the western and southern shores.  You’ll find plenty of things to do on Aruba such as snorkeling, world-class windsurfing, hiking, horseback riding, jet skiing, golf, quality shopping and a high-energy nightlife.
If you prefer to explore the island, the circuit around the island’s northern tip to California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, Bushiribana Gold Smelter Ruins, and Ayo and Casibari rock formations is the most popular. Although less frequented, Arikok National Park, with its flora, fauna, caves, dunes, and history, is just as worthwhile.
The weather is wonderful with year-round temperatures averaging at 82°F. Fortunately, the almost-constant trade winds make it easy to forget just how warm it is. There’s no monsoon season and no threat of tropical storms — the island is far outside the hurricane belt.
