Travel Highlights
Because I grew up in an airline family, I was introduced to travel at an early age. Throughout my career, I’ve been a strong travel industry advocate and have strengthened my own travel knowledge and skills in the Art of Travel. After spending many years in travel management, working with leisure and vacation travel is my true love!
In addition, I enjoy planning meetings, convention and incentive travel for all types of groups including vacations, business, and humanitarian travel. I also have strong expertise in sports travel, having managed all contracts for the Jacksonville “Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl” for 20 years.
I always make it a point to alert my corporate travelers to new leisure events, vacation destination ideas and of course, special hotel openings so they can live a few travel dreams and secure some fun memories, even while traveling for business.
During a recent vacation, I sailed on Azamara Cruises to the French Riviera with stops in Florence, St. Tropez, Caan, Monte Carlo during the Grand Prix and Nice. Because I’ve always wanted to see the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera and the Monaco Grand Prix, I joined the beautiful people on the Riviera to watch one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world.
Personally, I enjoy history, sightseeing, sports, beaches and warm destinations such as Bahamas, Bermuda, and Mexico (such as Cabos, Cancun, and Ixtapa.)
Throughout my travel career, I’ve explored Costa Rica, Israel, France (particularly Bordeaux, Marseilles and Paris), Nova Scotia, Spain, and Portugal. I’ve traveled the world, loving every minute of it and I know you will too!
Our Norway trip was Excellent!
This Norway/Finland trip might my favorite trip ever. We saw the Northern Lights three times and they were breathtakingly beautiful!
All hotel arrangements were great and the food was wonderful. The ferry from Tromos was more than just a ferry – it was like a very nice cruise ship. We especially liked the
Kelo-glass igloo in Kakslauttanen and thoroughly enjoyed the private sauna and fireplace.
Oh yeah, the Husky Safari and the Snow Tank were great fun. You and 50 º North did a great job with planning our itinerary. All in all, a great trip and we have highly recommended it to our friends. Thanks for all your help.

Amazing Costa Rica Vacation!
Hi Debi, My granddaughter and I just returned from Costa Rica and we had a wonderful trip. Arenal Springs is such an amazing place that we didn’t want to leave! The staff at the hotel was amazing and extremely accommodating. All transfers were right on time. They were always on the look-out for us and on each trip, we made new friends.
Riu Guanacaste was great with the exception of too much food…….I felt like I was on the lido deck of a ship! The food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. All in all, we will be going back and sharing this experience with friends and family. Thank you for making our trip so special!
