    We are deeply saddened to share that Doug Floyd, a valued member of our leisure travel team for more than 12 years, has passed away unexpectedly. Doug was known for his warmth, professionalism, and passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and clients.

    Travel Highlights

    When I was a senior in high school, I went to England on a study program. That trip did more to clarify my career intentions than anything else – I knew I wanted to share the excitement of discovering the world with others. During more than 30 years doing just that, I’ve become especially passionate about creating custom travel experiences geared toward my clients’ personal interests. Unique and one-of-a-kind experiences not only give my traveler a treasured memory souvenir of their trip, but their pleasure is very gratifying to me.

    I’ve been very fortunate to have traveled all over Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia, so I have firsthand experiences and contacts to help design “wow moments” into your trip. I find myself returning to Italy every chance I get because I love the people, the history, and the culture. The Italian’s have a passion for life, food, and of course, wine! Let’s create a vacation built around your passions.

    Dear Doug, The trip you mapped out for us went seamlessly. We didn’t even have to think! You made it so easy for us to navigate each day. We were both able to completely relax and just focus on the moment. So, this wasn’t just a fun vacation. It was a REAL vacation from anthing more strenuous than deciding what I wanted to put on my plate. Every driver; every train ride; every guide; every hotel we had we were thrilled with. There will always be favorites but you made the entire 18 days for us so pleasant and easy. Thank you again. I am very aware you did not need to take us on as clients. I will always be grateful.     Doug Floyd assisted us on our Royal Clipper cruise starting in Venice, Italy. Doug handled our initial bookings, airline tickets, hotel stays in Venice and Rome, as well as transportation in between plus a fabulous golf cart tour with a terrific guide in Rome. The cruise was great as were the hotels that Doug booked for us. The transportation Doug arranged was excellent, on time with professional drivers. We were very grateful to Doug for his assistance in making this trip truly memorable for all in our group of 6. Doug is a real pro and we hope to use his services again for future travels. We would not hesitate to recommend him as an outstanding travel advisor and agent.
